Hello, can you please tell me how I can edit the downloaded templates? Thanks

    • http://www.linkedin.com/in/denisgraur Denis Graur

      Hi monik,

There are .psd and .html files in the zip archive you’ve downloaded.

To make changes in the template’s design you have to edit the .psd files you need Adobe Photoshop. You choose the layout and open the corresponding .psd file with Photoshop. All the .psd files are layered and sliced. Further you’ll need basic Photoshop knowledge, at least about “Slicing”, “Saving for web” etc.

If you don’t need changes in the design then just open a .html file from the “HTML” folder with Dreamweaver (or another HTML editor) and replace the “lorem ipsum” temporary text

with your text and the placeholder images with your images. Same with the logo, links etc.

Or, you can use a online Email Marketing Software like Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor for simple editing and sending you newsletters.

      Here http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/can-i-use-my-own-design-instead-of-using-your-templates/ you’ll find

instructions on integrating a template with Mailchimp.

Here http://kb.mailchimp.com/article/how-do-i-edit-my-template/ you will find instructions on editing the added template.

You can find similar tutorials on Campaign Monitor website.

      Hope that will help.
